KIds Books: Two Great New Offerings From Visionary Press Collabrotive

Since this blog is titled My Life With Boys And Books, I thought I'd give you a peek at two books for the little guys in your life. My boys are getting kind of big, but I still downloaded these two and can tell you the illustrations and writing are top notch. Visionary Press Collaborative offers a wide array of choices when it comes to their books. And quality children's books are at the top. Here are the two new ones out now:
June 25, 2014 4 - 10 P - 2
This is the tale of Doodeedoo
Who was made of socks and superglue
By a little mouse with tiny paws,
Red painted lips, and well-trimmed claws.

She'd read a book called Frankenstein
But never passed page 109,
And as she said, "I'll have a go!"
The mouse picked up some thread to sew...

And so the tale goes, a little mouse reads Frankenstein, and decides to make a monster of her own. But she failed to read the ending.  A fun story for children, written in rhyme, and a lesson in not judging a book by its cover.
June 12, 2014 3 - 7 P - 1
"There was a beautiful little girl and she wanted to give her Daddy the perfect Father's Day gift... so she thought and she thought.... until she finally knew what she should do." A sweet tale of a little girl's adventure to find the perfect Father's Day gift.
Both books are available now in eBook and print versions. Great gifts for the little ones in your life. And you might just find yourself reading them as well.
